“Four of us stayed here for the eclipse. The place was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were a lot larger than I was expecting. The nearby trains can be a little loud, however the host was prepared with earplugs for sleeping and we all slept well. It is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. I recommend La Fuente, or Joe's Pizza. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable chairs in the living room.”

“Wr had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious we could spread out and not feel like we were piled on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus! We had a great family trip, and the house size and location was a big part of our great……

“It was good for a quick overnight stay while traveling with 2 cats. Front desk staff was excellent - friendly and helpful when we lost power. Very no frills, but knew that and planned ahead to have comforts I wanted. Reading property descriptions helps make your stay better !! ”

“Great discount hotel. One of the best designed rooms I've stayed in. Immaculate with many conveniences: fridge, microwave, computer desk, PLENTY of outlets. VERY clean bathroom. And a very convenient moderately priced Mexican sit down restaurant across the parking lot”

“Overall good stay, Video check in experience was good with overseas clerk, Futuristic. Pool was not open during our stay.”

“It’s a nice hotel. We didn’t use the pool or eat breakfast. The check in desk could be lower and towels need to be replaced, kind of thin. ”

“We loved staying at the Lodge this past weekend. It has fantastic views & the indoor pool was great. Lots of comfy seating to all hang out together & plenty of room to explore nature outside. I would defiantly go back & bring the family next time.”
