“This is a cute property and has been made to feel like home. 2 bathrooms 3 bedrooms 2 pull out couches-we did not use, a washer and dryer and a fully functioning kitchen,-no dishwasher-unless you count yourself as one. We loved our stay. Our Athens Alabama experience was amazing. This property is right on the shore of the Elk River. On the balcony at night you can hear the coyotes scream and in the early hours of the morning you can hear the turkey's gooble. Very beautiful and very cool. We……

“Everything was clean and in order..We had relatives in cabins nearby and enjoyed visiting with them..Really enjoyed sitting on the deck and the peaceful view..Hoping to be able to come back in the near future!!”

“Our family had the best time staying in this cabin. It was beautiful and well furnished with all the necessities and more. It is located perfectly between the lakes(we were staying for a fishing tournament) The host was great! We really enjoyed catching perch right off the back deck. “Property was great - location on the water was beautiful and relaxing. There was a trailer park / campground directly behind the property, yet noise and crowding were nonexistent, The cabin was updated with a wonderful bathroom and adequate kitchen. The flooring was perfect for our dogs yet the foundation was a bit wavy especially in master bedroom which may concern older guest with dubious mobility. Being fenced in was great benefit, allowing our dogs to roam the property without being……

“If you do not like rustic or nature, this is not the place for you. Other than they need to spray for spiders/bugs, the place was exactly what was expected. It’s nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable and the layout worked for us. I read another review where the porch was dusty/dirty from not being used and it was the same. The cushions for the chairs were in a tub and we just didn’t mess with getting them out and possibly cleaning. So the screened porch, that was a selling point, wasn’t……
