“Close proximity to the Erie Canal Lock 17. Lovely historic building. Air conditioning needed fixing. Difficult to find help.”

“Our suite was very clean and cozy. Loved the complimentary soaps and amenities provided in the bathroom. Our bed was very comfortable. ”

“The staff and breakfast were excellent. For areas of improvement, the road sign needs a light to illuminate it at night and the plants around it need to be trimmed to improve visibility. The landscaping on the grounds and on the porch need upkeep and improvement. It would be helpful to add a write up or plaque about the history of the home as you enter.”

“Loved staying at David’s home. The location is perfect and the kindness and friendliness of the host was welcoming. I didn’t realize it was a shared bath but that was not a problem since I was the only one there. Perhaps I missed that in the listing. Brought back many memories for me when I lived at the lake during the summer.”

“I stayed here while my son played in the Cooperstown baseball tournament. David was so helpful and friendly, and treated me like family. The view was stunning; I will miss having coffee on the deck overlooking the lake as well as David's amazing breakfasts. Oh, and his cookies were to die for! :)”
