“The view from my room was fantastic, looking over the coastline, the room itself was large and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were as expected, they do advertise having a gym, but it in reality its just two running machines, a bike and a mat in what looks like a store room :) the running machine was what I wanted anyway, but in no ways should it be advertised as a 'gym' That said, the hotel was good overall and I would stay again.”

“Wir haben im Starling Cloud für einen Zwischenstopp in Aberystwyth übernachtet. Die Innenstadt kann man zu Fuß in ca. 15 - 20 Minuten erreichen. Die Stadt selbst fanden wir nicht besonders reizvoll. In dem großen Hotelzimmer mit riesigem Bett haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Restaurant haben wir gut zu Abend gegessen und leckeres Ale getrunken. Die Unterkunft ist unseres Erachtens auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet.”

“I had a seaview room which was nice but because the old double glazing didn't shut properly, the sea waves breaking on the shore was quite noisy whilst I was trying to sleep.”

“Staff were very kind, upgraded us free of charge as our original room was noisy from road noise and loose tiles on cladding above bay window rattling in the wind. Plenty of parking, approx 25min walk into town. Lovely evening meal and breakfast.”

“Karen, one of the owner, could not have been more helpful. We were there for one night to go to my dad’s funeral. I had to ring the hotel twice for advice about something and Karen went out of her way to help. Breakfast was lovely a good selection and set us up for the day. Although the building is old it was spotless. A beautiful waterfall at the bottom of the garden. Lots of bird life flying around. Perfect. Thank you Karen and family ”

“A very lovely stay. Our room was very comfortable, nice bed and great shower. The hosts were spectacular. The breakfasts were some of the best breakfasts at a B & B. Hosts also gave us great travel tips for the area, we loved exploring the Elan Valley, Devils Bridge and Aberyswyth.”

“The apartment is smart, clean and tastefully decorated. Everything is modern and in excellent condition. Cental to all the shops and cafes. We got a parking space right outside. It was a little noisey, but it was freshers week, so maybe the students were enjoying themselves at the pub a little way down the street. ”

“Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa. “Nice room, comfy bed and great staff. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was hot and tasty. Only one small issue with water pressure in the shower but I would stay again despite that. ”

“A lovely pod next to the owner's farm house in a lovely quiet spot with a lovely private lake to walk around, hot tub to spend the night in, views of the hills from the deck in the day time, good parking space, Oven, hobs, microwave, toaster, and everything else you could need in the kitchen. Strong little heater and towel rack kept the pod plenty warm. Strong shower but it needs a bit more sealant around the bottom of the glass pane as it was leaking a bit near the sink. Lovely host who gave us……
