“Excellent stay. We have a glamping just for a night and we enjoyed the pre-arrival calls and email making sure we can find the location well. Thanks to Alison for her great hospitality by phone as well as in person, also her tour in the morning about the Sanctuary. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wish to support their work as well as to enjoy a bit of relax atmosphere in Port Stephens.”

“It was our first visit to Nelson Bay, nature is fascinating, lots of activities around to get engaged in, shopping is near by which was great. The only constructive feedback that I would like to share is that property needs renovations, not decently cleaned when we received the key. ”

“We booked via expedia. Since we expect ourselves to arrive later than check in hours, we have requested expedia to contact the park for late check in arrangement. The reply from expedia is asking us to contact hotel directly. We arrived the park 18:01 and the reception is closed. Without receiving any safe box code from expedia, we stand in front of the gate with wind and rain. Fortunately, we called and left message to the park’s after hours mobile, and Belinda (the property manager)……

“There were a few bumps at the start with some bugs in the property but the owner was prompt at having the place fumigated and there were no more issues. Great location.”

“The property was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. The property owners and helpers on the property were more than willing to help us out in setting up, fixing things and even had a dance with us at night time when the music came on. We hope this place becomes our new home for our small events because it was honestly the best place we have used in our time of hosting small-scale parties.”

“If you want to be surrounded by nature this is the place to be. We loved our stay from beginning to end, the hosts are fantastic too! Amenities are clean and the stay in the tepee was amazing. The property is so big and the tepee is hidden away so you don’t notice anyone else if you want your privacy. Loved sitting out on the deck at night. Plenty of nature around you and things to discover. Definitely recommend!”

“Was a little disappointed in our stay. The lady was friendly on arrival😄, The hut we stayed in looked much bigger in the photos I’m sure the one I selected when booking wasn’t the one we got, so I’m not sure what happened there. Sleeping was so uncomfortable the bed was hard as a Rock and when you turned over you almost rolled out 😢 being a family room with a toddler (which was stated in the booking) i thought there would have been water and a microwave available to heat bottles up but had to……
