The Edison is a great spot! You cannot beat the location half a block to Times Square surrounded by theatres, night life, safe to walk around. We loved the old charm of the hotel with the vintage murals and vibe. Blended with modern times like hip hop playing in the elevator. The Rum House is amazing spot for live jazz every night and amazing drinks. Troy, one of the bartenders made my husband and I’s night we had such a good time! Friedmans one of the restaurants on site is gorgeous, has really good food including the $6.50 breakfast for hotel guests (which was delicious!) and every night from 6-9pm your servers perform broadway songs while you eat! (You have to reserve) Bond 45 is the other restaurant which is an authentic Italian restaurant with delicious food, antipasto, and some NY history. Our first night we we arrived late and we were out in a room on the second floor. This level felt a bit like a dungeon because there is no hallway window like on the higher floors. The room was honestly not that great either the AC unit made a weird noise all night, we were overlooking scaffolding and construction/drilling started early in the AM. The next day the front desk agent moved us to a room on the 10th floor in a quieter section it was a much nicer room with better finishings, and cleanliness. From here out we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Some would be nices: A mini fridge as we always had leftover food, wine opener in the room. We would go back!
