Yes it’s under construction, but when there’s other rooms available why put people above the beer garden? Also hot water takes extremely long to heat up. Bed was comfortable, room clean. Bed isn’t a king it’s two single beds together.

No microwave and dead cockroaches on floor

Hi Brett, we apologise if your stay wasn't pleasant. Due to the construction it does disrupt cockroaches in the area. This is why we have pest controllers in every 2 weeks to control the area. As for the microwave, the rooms don't state that they have a microwave and we recommend customers call ahead if this is something they need. This eliminates any confusion.

My husband and I love staying here, as it is very close to our daughter and her family’s house. Unfortunately this stay was mid renovation. The rooms are spotless and the staff are excellent. We will definitely stay again, and can’t wait to see the completed renovations.

The staff and rooms are great there just in the middle of renovations so a little noisy but once the expansion is finished it will be a even better experience to stay and relax Great vale for room location and just a quick stay or a little longer stay Once the restaurant is open it will seem like a one stop shop
