Heating, bed, linen, hot water etc are good. Non smoking is also good. Parking is good. Expedia indicated free wifi and check in time as 12noon. No wifi. Real check In time is 2pm. Restaurant closed early. Finding a place to get food in the night is difficult.

Close to high way to travel home, staff helpful, rooms needed an up grade, very old looking, was not a where you had to leave a $100 deposit for your room in case of damage, which was return on leaving but found it very inconvenient was not told when room was booked. As I had just come from John Hunter hospital after paying big money to see specialist this was not in my budget, why something was not said on booking the room I don’t know would not stay there again

Staff was rude about unclean kitchen staying its not our job to clean kitchen...u have to clean yourself. And also about $100 deposit taken last week npt yet returned.

The property was cheap and I got what I paid for The room was small and basic The shared bathroom was a test, the toilets looked like the cleaner had never cleaned the wall behind the door or behind the door since the building was built around 1960 the owner was a bit miffed that I mentioned this to her The hotel also demanded a $100 security deposit on arrival which was not disclosed in the Expedia bookin

Hi Bruce,Thankyou for your feedback, and it has been passed onto the cleaning crew, although this may be who you spoke to on the day as it certainly was not the owner.As for the Pre-Authorisation, this is something that every motel requires. Often this is called a key deposit, or the motel may ask for a credit card imprint. It's all the same and is a deterrent to guests leaving properties with unexpected costs such as missing keys, rooms that smell of smoke, damage etc. It is an unfortunate aspect to our industry.
