“Great cabin in an isolated rural country-side. More spacious than we expected (party of 4 adults toddler). Loved waking up each morning to the songs of birds while seated at the patio. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. There is a heater in the basement that more than warms up the entire house. Easily accessible to the nearby trails and waterfalls. And those country roads can get tempting to anyone with a lead foot! Be careful though. The host was very responsive - contacted him……

“We had a great time. The cabin is very clean and had everything we needed to make dinners there. There was more than enough room for the two of us and our small dog. About 15-20 minutes from Watkins Glen. Would be a great place for a large family to stay.”

“The cabin was clean and quiet. The owner met us at check-in and oriented us to the camp. While one might assume from the listing that there was a bathroom as part of the cabin that was not the case. Clean bathroom facilities (toilets, showers, and sinks) were about a 2-min walk away. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well. We did not cook or eat on site, as we spent most of our time visiting a relative nearby. WiFi was available and fast by the common area; however, the signal did not……

“The property was just what we excepted. It is in a very country setting and close to the sights we wanted to see. The host was very friendly. The place was also very pet friendly. We will be staying there again.”

“This is such a magical place! I think our kids now have a very inflated idea of what "camping" is. We stayed in the Honeysuckle Glamping Tent while attending a graduation nearby and it was the perfect place to relax in between events. Only a 15 minute drive from Ithaca, but feels like worlds away. We would definitely stay again if we have an occasion to be in the area!”

“Super cute cabin! Modern amenities while still very rustic and cozy. Located right in the middle of so many beautiful state parks and wineries, and only a 15-20 minute drive either way to WatkinsGlen or Ithaca. Hosts are accessible and friendly. We loved our stay here.”

“Pros: lake front, fun, holds a large family, eating on the porch was relaxing, location, hot tub Cons: could use a deep clean: items in kitchen cabinets a bit grimy, musty smell lower level, come prepared with drinking water Overall, we had a great time. Thank you!”

“From the second Greg, our host, brought us into the cabin we knew it was going to be a great weekend. Large fire pit, covered deck area for cards, perfectly sized and planned cabin. Not to mention the location being great! I can’t thank Greg enough for a truly memorable weekend!”

“Very cute place rental and convenient to Cornell. Price was very reasonable. We would recommend this place to others and definitely stay here again. Some extra amenities would be a very nice addition such as having some extra TP, hand/ dish soap (shower soap was empty), paper towels, napkins, etc. There was coffee which was awesome-- we had brought our own so we were all set. The sheets on the bed slid off at night- better sheets would make for a nicer experience as well. Overall, it was……

“We had such a wonderful family vacation at the Climbing Vine Cottage. The host provided coloring supplies, toys, & books for our children. My husband & I enjoyed relaxing in front of the pellet stove. & to our surprise, we even experienced our first snow of the season during our stay. So grateful for the hosts quick responses & recommendations for local restaurants & activities. I highly recommend this spot for your next family getaway!”

“Came for 3 days to visit Cornell with my daughter and this home was perfect. Small, yet not lacking anything, rustic but lacking none of the modern tech. The backyard waterful, fire pit and views are worth the stay alone. Would definitely stay again.”
