“My new favorite Austin hotel! Really great boutique hotel just minutes from downtown and a couple of blocks off the lake and Austin greenbelt. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the hotel has a great sense of that famous "Austin Funkiness" while still feeling high quality, with great little details and touches everywhere you look. Having a hip austin coffeeshop on premises and many restaurants and bars within a short walk was also a plus. Can't wait to stay again!”

“This hotel is a landmark and was built in 1886. They offer a free tour of the hotel which I would recommend. It's very well maintained while keeping all it's original charm. Downtown location is perfect - we did not need a car to get around the city. Staff well very helpful, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!”

“Great scent in the hotel lobby as we walked in to check-in. Checking in was like 5 mins. Extremely happy with the room cleanliness and the overall cleainess of the hotel. Will definitely stay again if I'm in town again. Oddly but they don't automatically provide body lotion anymore, might not be a big deal just thought I should mention.”

Different interior design, same very practical and convenient room layout with small kitchenette. The location is close to everything in downtown and the breakfast equally awesome and considerably better quality than your average hotel breakfast. “Overall, stay was phenomenal, staff was accommodating and friendly. Hotel offerings included a welcome beverage, a free happy hour beverage, free coffee from the cafe in the morning. Option to not have your room cleaned for credit on your stay. As well as a $10 food & Bev credit per day. There is construction in the area but they provide noise cancelling machines and earplugs but we only turned the machine on once so wasn’t bad at all. Really great vibe going on around the hotel with Rainy……
