“Interesting home, well appointed. Some issues with cleanliness, for instance moldy coffee grounds in the coffee pot. House was 51 degrees on arrival, took over 24 hours to warm up to 63 degrees. No help provided by owner or Vacasa. However the location and layout of the house worked perfectly for us and we had a spectacular eclipse experience.”

“Our son goes to UVM and felt like exploring the area beyond Burlington. This was the perfect location for us to make day trips to bike the Colchester Causeway, get fresh apple Cider, take walks by the lake and see Montreal. The cottage is cozy and cute with lots of thoughtful touches, including robes, slippers, toiletries, local snacks and more. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who our son no doubt missed more than us! Highly recommend!”

“I chose this location because it was right on the water, and pet friendly, prerequisites for our vacation choice. The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience. “The place is private, peaceful, clean and well maintained. Dave, the owner, even warned us of an approaching storm and advised us on how to protect screen porch furniture upholstery from getting wet, so communication was excellent, too. ”

“Comfortable, climate control worked well. Bathroom was clean. Floor was cold, but that doesn't bother me. Within walking distance of some good eats. not recommended if you're sensitive to loud sounds as its close to the airport and lots of vehicle traffic might keep someone up all night but I'm deaf in one ear so no worries for me.”

“We stayed here for the 2024 eclipse. It was a perfect location. Plan to bring bottled water for drinking/cooking/etc during your stay, but otherwise, there is everything you need for a relaxing weekend away!”

“The property manager did a good job taking care of a plumbing issue that interrupted our enjoyment of the stay. Unfortunately, a plumber had to work about 2 hours Sun. night til 10:30 PM, and called in a plumber with a bigger auger who worked the next morning to unclog the basement pipe. This was an issue that obviously had been there awhile! After he left, the tub/shower drained very slowly as well. After mentioning the plumbing work to the property manager, the company agreed to refund some……

“The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that.”

“Nice clean apartment 5 minutes away from downtown. After spending a long day in Burlington, it was nice to have a great place to stay so close to downtown. Nice amenities, great pillows and blankets, would stay again.”

“We had a wonderful experience at this farmhouse location with easy access to mutiple surrounding attractions. Jessica greeted us with a smile upon arrival. She and her husband, Chad proved to be a most pleasant and accommodating couple. The rental was dutch clean, and there was plenty of amenities on site. The bed was quite comfortable and the property was quiet. We recommend this rental for anyone interested in visiting the area.”
