“We stayed on the 3rd floor of a refurbished train station. The room was clean and the decor inventive. The dinner was well done and the owners gracious. One caveat is that the owners haven't yet put in an elevator and the 2 flights of stairs are the characteristically steep and narrow Dutch stairs.”

“Canal view stay has to be one of the best BnB experiences that we have ever had. The comfort and home-feel of a BnB was combined with the attention to detail and service found within a design hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the space that was larger than expected from the photos. The apartment is in an excellent location walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and of course - Vondelpark. We became regulars at the bar next door that serves great food and drinks.……

“Host was wonderful and helpful with tip to get around. The little pub down the street was friendly and the food great at a very good price. It was easy to get into Central Amsterdam, however you probably only want to do it once a day. We found that after a day in the Central City we were too tired to return at dinner time. Dining choices near the flat are plentiful and very good. Pizza down at the corner, and a 10+ minute walk to Lowlander is well worth the effort. Flat was clean, neat,……

“The apartment is lovely and had most everything we needed for our 9 day stay, including a sweet little outdoor area along the front sidewalk. Richard is just upstairs and was responsive to our requests. He is willing to recommend activities and to drive guests with luggage. He picked me up from my river cruise dock when I arrived and dropped me off at the train station on the day I left. His fee for driving is very reasonable. “Lovely host, lovely property, great location, but be warned the unit is 4 flights up those world famous Amsterdam staircases. Overall our party consisting of 2 couples was well served by Christy's apartment, the only thing we found lacking was a microwave. Would stay again.”

“Very nice stay on the boat. Terrace is very convinient if you want to stay in the sun. Very calm even though there is a bridge but the noice is not very hard. Nice small room with everything you need. One inconvenient: the soap was not refilled there was no soap but we used the shower gel that was refilled.”
