“You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo……

“Easy to walk to downtown and a large number of historic properties from this location. The cottage is well kept, clean, and convenient. Accurate description of sleeping arrangements. Only caveat- like most houses of this age, HVAC is an issue. The upstairs bedrooms have on-wall units (not in-wall, on-wall) that blow cold air, and that helps cool, and multiple fans are provided in closets. But it could still most likely get pretty warm in summer, upstairs. Max temp during our stay was……

“Edenton was a beautiful and quaint town. It had the friendliest people! The Creek House was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The host was very quick to respond to any inquiries and when we had lights go out in 2 of the bathrooms, he personally came over to resolve the issue. Highly recommend The Creek House!”

“Edenton did not disappoint, from the shops, to the farmers market and the historic sites. The house was very comfortable. My boys loved that the house was built in the late 1800s. It was nicely renovated too. The host did a great job assuring that we had everything that we needed.”
