“Clean, looks just like picture. Easy to get to. Calm quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from Kroger grocery store and main road with eateries. The Salt Tree Yoga Spa Ottawa is so close to this home, so we got our spa on, grabbed some groceries, and chilled out at a home away from home:). Bare minimum supplies but got the job done for dinner, snacks, and breakfast. Would definitely come back.”

“We took a family weekend getaway out of the city to Starved Rock and stayed with this host. From the time of purchase through checkout, the host was accommodating and available. The description of the home was spot on and was stocked with all of the basic needs and more. The grill and fire pit were a huge hit. It’s a 5 minute drive to breakfast locations, ice cream shop, and a grocery store and 10 minute drive to starved rock. Our kids had so much fun playing monopoly, we made it a no electronic……

“Modern apartment that was very clean. Check in was easy. Off street parking was a plus. Beds were comfortable. Overall a quiet neighborhood unless the train went by, but that was fully disclosed in discription. Neighbors were quiet. Loved that we could bring our pup. Only a few minor things missing that would make it a 5--- if you intend to cook, bring your own cooking utensils, Keurig was nice but not enough K pods for our stay (drip coffee pot would be nice), advertised 1.5 baths but was……

“It’s super close to downtown Yorkville!! So in the months with better weather it would be perfect to stay and walk to the few restaurants downtown and little shops and the river area. We arrived a little early and the host let us in and was able to change the codes around so we could check in as it was cold out! So super accommodating helpful!! Also the garage is a bonus but anything larger than a mid range suv is not going to fit as parking is tight! The only issue we had was the neighbors were……

“This property was gorgeous. The home itself was very warm, inviting, and spacious. We knew immediately when we walked in that we snagged a winner. It was a great home for spending time together but also finding small moments of time to chill and relax. We had a minor issue with the digital entry code, but management was able to fix it quickly.”

“We really enjoyed staying here. The owner was very nice and answered all our questions. We loved being right on the river and we caught a lot of fish (bass and big catfish). We drove to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park and went hiking there. We couldn't wait to get back to the cabin after hiking to relax. All the furniture, beds and bedding were very comfortable. The cabin is nicely decorated, beautiful wood furnishings and taxidermy. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Very clean upon arrival and all beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room for 6 adults. I only used the downstairs shower, water pressure and hot water availability was awesome! Communication was a breeze and response time was very fast! Check in couldn’t be any easier. Plenty of towels, extra blankets, toilet paper, trash bags. The only issue I had was 3 of the downstairs windows do not lock and it made me uncomfortable sleeping in an area I’m not familiar with. I did mention this to the……

“The inside of the property was as very small but clean and nice. The location wasn’t very pleasant view of neighborhood. No tv’s in bedrooms. Water smelled like rotten eggs and the sink in the bathroom ran dry slow. The view from the deck was amazing and the dock was great for fishing.”

“Everything in the listing was accurate except it listed that it has a hot tub, which it doesn't. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“This was a very nice home, and recently updated. I will defenately go back. It was nice that the yard was fenced in for the dogs. I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Alot of good restaurants within a five minute drive.”
