“We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.”

“Love the property. All kinds of birds. There was a running creek and a pond which allowed us to be serenaded by frogs at night. Everything was well kept up. Neighborhood felt safe at night. Found a little café in La Fortuna that specialized in chocolate, Absolutely delicious there.”

“Pablo was a very gracious and helpful host, which made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The spot is beautiful, with amazing views and plenty of wildlife. The kids all loved the swimming hole and hot tub, and it was fun to cook on an open fire. The cabin was comfortable for two families (total of 9 people), and was well equipped.”

“No daily room service. Have to request the WiFi code but overall we would definitely stay again. Loved the seculedness of each room. Maybe add a second set of stairs to the hot tub. Beautiful rooms and beautiful property. ”

“Our Green Treasure House stay was great! The grounds, the outdoor living space and the pool were beautiful. The house itself was pretty basic but the beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. There was no need to spend time in the house because the outdoor space was so inviting. We felt very secure as the property was fenced and gated. It did require a taxi or Uber to go anywhere. We loved the property and would highly recommend it.”

“The owners were lovely and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom cabin which was ideal for us with 2 young children. It had a well equipt kitchen. We did have a few ants coming in but when we told the owner they came down to spray the cabin. Great having a pool at the property for unwinding after a busy day in nature. The town was a 5 minute drive and it was really easy and cheap to get taxis there. Would definitely recommend staying here.”

“ I’m very picky about cleanliness so I chose this cabin because I could see while blankets & towels in the pictures & they didn’t disappoint me! All was perfectly clean & organized The mattress & pillows were very comfortable. Someone said it was hard to locate the place but just following Waze or Google maps we made it to their parking with no problem. The cabins are very separated from each other so you have lot of privacy. Peaceful balcony & very convenient for my husband who smokes. *No……

“One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The house is rustic and a little rough around the edges but that is all accounted for in the price and clear in the listing. The village of Santa Elena is close by and great for dining and shopping. Just string the hammock up on the porch and relax.”

“Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. Da la sensación que estás dentro de la selva, ya que tienen un jardín muy bonito. Desayuno muy completo con café, fruta cortada, tostadas, huevos, plátano frito. Hecho al momento. “The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —……

“Able to drive right to the property thanks to google maps. Incredible home with magnificent view of the volcano. AC worked well in all rooms. Bugs were an issue at night times but we kept off the outside lights to eliminate that problem”

“We had a fantastic stay here. Super clean, safe, easy to get in/out and close to town and all there is to do in the area. We don’t use the pool (too busy) but it was clean, and close. The view of the volcano was superb and it was a very quiet place to stay.”

“We went for my wife's 40th birthday with multiple families with kids. It was a perfect venue and stay that was closer to the Liberia airport vs Fortuna. We had Tucans on the property, parrots, and plenty of beautiful birds. There is enough distance from each of the villas that gave you some privacy, but close enough to also feel together easily. One issue you can run into in being in the jungle is bugs, but there were no mosquitos or any issues at all staying here, definitely nothing in the……

“CRParaiso is a gem for nature lovers. The property contains several trails, ponds, groves, while offering a mature forest and open areas. It is full of birds and lends itself to their observation by the most passionate enthusiasts. The main house offers all the comfort and respite desired. Bret is easily reachable and always willing to answer questions and provide sound advice. Not to be missed if you go to the very beautiful region of Nuevo Arenal.”
