This was our worst stay out of all stays. We stayed at the Riu Palace and it was excellent along with the staff. The staff at Riu Vallarta was very rude at the front desk and seemed bothered anytime you asked a question or inquired about something. I went on an excursion and lost my bracelet and they arged me 25 dollars to torlace when it wasnt my fault. The ladys response was we have thousands of people and noone ever loses their bracelet. She refused to offer a free replacement without paying more money when we had spent thousands to stay there. Her name was Alma Rosa, very rude. I had another encounter with her later in my stay when i had left a photo book at one of theyre restaurants. When i asked if they had turned it in she seemed bother and non interested in helping. She made me wait 20 minutes. I then went back to the desk and her response was i cant get in touch with the staff they probably left and i cant help you. At that moment the gal from the restaurant happen to be leaving her shift and had my book, and brought it to the front desk. In other instances when you asked for something reminder all inclusive the staff seemed bothered and not friendly at all. My last poor instance with them was when i asked for toliet paper in my room, we were completely out. I called the first time requesting a role at 7am. They said theyd bring it right up, after 30 minutes i called again letting them know we had not received it. They said theyd bring some. Waited another hr nothin

I didn't get a nice view. Felt our bed had moisture. But everything else was really good.

Room was great.
Sheets need to be replaced because they are starting to look old.
Steak house over rated. Food was ok.
Staff at the steak house was not very friendly.
All other dinning places were good and staff was very nice and friendly.
Entertainment was great. Staff and entertainers made it fun and enjoyable.
I had a great time. I will return and recommend this hotel to friends/family.

The area to the beach is beautiful! The hotel is a bit on the outdated side and the staff isn't very attentive. The hotel was packed and so many people were really drunk and would constantly throw up in the pool on multiple different days. Which would then force the pool to close for the day. We were not allowed to play music in any of the pools on our bluetooth speaker. No room service, only one 24 hour spot that had the stale/days old sandwiches. Repeat on all food items. We ate outside of the resort on most days. They said we would have access to the other Rui resorts but were denied access when trying to go.

I stayed all inclusive but you have to pay 35M$per game of pool and soccer at the sports bar, very expensive. All salt dispenser at restaurants dont work. Coffee machines stopped working too. Same food all week
