“The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.”

“Been using the Royal for years. Staff always good and attentive. Breakfast is more than adequate. Hotel itself is warm and clean; could do with a little tlc though. Car parking can be a challenge! Oban, generally, is a nightmare to find a spot to park a car.”

Kimberly, at the spa, gave a fantastic deep tissue massage. When told that she should teach massage—she informed us that she does, at a local college. We loved our stay here. ”
