“If a hotel/motel charges a deposit, which most do, then Hotels.com discloses the deposit amount when booking. This is transparent and good business practice. However, when booking this room, no deposit was specified - in fact nothing about a deposit was specified. As I had my wallet stolen earlier that day, I booked the room at the Sleepy Traveler using my hotels.com rewards and specifically chose this motel because a deposit wasn’t specified so I assumed there wasn’t one, because my wallet was……

The decor was fun and really cool filled with old time memorabilia. There is even a record player! We loved the place and would definitely stay again.”
