“工作人員不多，但熱心友善。預訂了幾晚單人房，有升降機、煮食空間(2樓、3樓都不太大，未必有食物共享區)，尤其淋浴及洗手間十分整潔，亦有吹風機、暖氣及大毛巾提供，房內免費wifi穩定。 不鄰近火車站，在斜坡上，需另轉一程巴士到達，帶著大行李箱下坡要多留意。 附近有消防局，偶然會被吵醒。”

“False advertising. Rude staff. Beds with one small blanket in winter. Old building and freezing cold-no insulation. Bathroom tap didn't turn on. Booked for 3 nights, thinking it had a private bathroom as advertised. Upon check in found out no room had private bathroom. All shared. Refused to refund me any money. Even after showing them the advertisement online. Didn't stay and booked elsewhere. Only parking available is pay and display down the road that is more expensive than the room itself. ”

“Awful. No bath mat, soap, bin, glass/cup. Filthy lockers, poop in toilet. Holes in walls, filthy walls. Tv ripped off wall. One neighbour making disgusting noises, clearly very ill. Another screaming super offensive abuse. Nearly called police. Extremely upset. Felt very unsafe.”

“We booked this property because it was a handy location, unfortunately we had also booked it because it said we could have 3 separate beds and because I was booking it for 3 students that didn't really know each other it was appropriate they have their own beds. I have just been told they were only provided with a double and single bed. This has put me in a rather awkward position. They were not confident to ask for this to be changed.”

“Lovely and helpful staff, comfortable beds. Felt surprisingly private. The shared spaces were spacious, comfortable and lovely. They have a “quiet” room which was highly appreciated. It felt new, fresh and cozy. The kitchen could get pretty messy but the staff tried their best to keep it clean. I felt like I got a lot of value for the money.”

“The most disappointing thing about this place was the bathroom facilities. There was mould everywhere in the shower - up the walls, on the ceiling. The shower curtain looked liked it hadn't been changed in decades...it was scary to touch. The place also smelled of cigarettes....not very pleasant. While it is a hostel, I have certainly stayed in better hostels both in Auckland and major cities around the world. By far the worst hostel I have stayed in.”

“Perfect for what we needed, room was spacious. Only grumble I had was the kitchenette had a bar fridge which was difficult on my bad back, but that’s my problem. Overall it was great!”

“Very clean and comfortable. Good bed and shower. Plenty of good quality linen. For a longer stay clothes storage might be an issue as most of the wardrobe (could do with more hangers), bedside tables and chest of drawers were taken up with the owner's personal belongings. Our stay was 2 weeks so we kept our suitcases open on the bed in the other bedroom (which is not included in the let). Once we sorted ourselves out with all that we had a lovely time and were very happy and comfortable in the……

“This is a great spot for a group holiday stay. It is close to multiple beaches (but I would recommend driving rather than walking to them). The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Jason is a very responsive and kind host.”
