Overall a great property with included hot breakfast buffet and free drinks at happy hour. Very comfortable beds. Crane’s Roost Park was a nice area to visit. I also appreciated the free parking and the front desk was kind enough to check us in early. However, our first room had a toilet that needed repair. Upon request, we were quickly and easily moved to the room next door. But then at midnight on our first night, the incredibly loud fire alarm in our room and the room next door went off, waking us abruptly. I called the front desk to check that everything was alright and they said it was a maintenance issue. It was just so bizarre that only our alarm and the alarm in the room we were previously checked into was going off. Not even the hallway alarms. I assume it was all just coincidence or a result of the repair work needed in our prior room, but in the moment, being awakened from a deep sleep after a long day traveling, we couldn’t help but feel like we had been targeted for complaining earlier. I liked this hotel, but that first night experience left a bad taste.

I liked the location of this property, the free breakfast and parking, and the staff was really friendly.

Good location....and the park and lake just great!!! Breakfast and happy hour included a super plus...no complaints. Just a hint: need better bed pillows !!!! Good place to relax....will come back!!!
