“Great getaway! Didn’t get to spend as much time there as we would have liked, but it was very nice when we were there!”

“This cozy cabin worked out pretty well for our family of four plus dog. The owner was awesome and responded very quickly to all questions. pros: -lovely view -nice hot tub -dog friendly -clean -washer/dryer -two living areas -multiple televisions -excellent response time from owner -large deck -air-conditioned (although we did not need it in May) -close to town of Hiawassee -lots of privacy and trees cons: -the yard was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. -the main living area and……

We loved reading the story of how Mammy’s Cabin came to be- and finding our own connections along the way! The kitchen is well stocked, bed is comfy, and the views are spectacular! The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. We enjoyed cooking, local restaurants, and nearby hikes! It was a great weekend and we hope to be back!”

“We enjoyed the home - it had several nice aspects. Very clean, good kitchen, the king bed was super-comfortable, and the many options in lighting and ceiling fans was appreciated. The screened porch overlooking the forest with the sound of the river in the background was wonderful – well furnished with rockers, tables and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, without bugs! The creek access is down a steep grade through the trees, with flights of wooden steps, but neither up nor down was more than any……

“The property was absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views with all the lush greens of tall trees. An amazing creek to take full advantage of all the adventures you can create and all within steps from the house. Huge bonus was the hot tub to also enjoy with the creek view. There was so much to do, even when it rained. So much space and privacy. The owner/host had provided everything we could possibly need. Incredible Waterfalls within 20 miles including our must favorite *Dry Falls and *Bust……

“Wonderful, relaxing. Owners warm and welcoming. Fresh, homemade pound cake and sprigs of fresh flowers and greenery adorned the cottage upon our arrival. The ever-changing mountains shouted out in majestic glory splashing her radiance upon our front porch view. A waterfall trailed peacefully behind the cottage with a swing that beckoned one to sit awhile. Location great for diverse activities: hiking, sightseeing, shopping, zip line. A plethora of fine dining to fun, local eateries to choose……
