The grotto is extremely overpriced and you cannot book a massage without. A $150 grotto 2 hr charge. Outrageous.

This spa is unique, picturesque with plentiful staff that are friendly and helpful. The different types of accommodation were thoughtfully and tastefully arranged on the property. The quality of the food was first class (if pricey). The kitchenette and gas fire made the room much more comfortable.
Some of the equipment in the gym could be better maintained; and it would be a bonus if the pool beside the gym had thermal water. Having bars of soap for handwashing in the room would have been helpful. And there was too much furniture in our room; moving it so we could open the Murphy bed was a challenge. And the tile floors in the room could helpfully be heated.

Checkin was quick and the host allowed us in early. Room was clean and had all amenities you would expect. Beautiful place!
