It is a little further out of town, I enjoyed the walk but some might prefer to travel by car. “We arrived to a welcoming warm softly lit cabin which was appreciated after our long drive. Beautifully decorated, there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the deck with a hot drink we enjoyed the peace and beauty of the misty mountains and lush green pastures where kangaroos and wombats grazed. “The house was perfect for a family of 10, six bedrooms and four bathrooms. Great for adults and kids with the stunning location and views through to chickens, heated pool, entertaining area, bike riding, log fire in the middle of the lake and open fires inside to stay family cosy and celebrate a fantastic 70th Birthday. Everything was there to enjoy the weekend, kitchen well catered for dinners and huge dining area inside. Even the weather gave it all, sunshine, no wind and morning wonderful……

“Our family had a beautiful time at Twin Oaks Cottage. The house and grounds are in beautiful lush condition, and were very safe for our children (three under 9) to run around and play on. Even a very thoughtful gift basket on our arrival with marshmallows to toast on the fire, carrots to feed the horses, and a lovely bottle of sparkling wine for the grown ups! Would definitely recommend staying at Twin Oaks.”

“Seamless check in and check out. The rooms were clean, well appointment, modern bathroom facilities, bed very comfortable. Pubs and cafes next door. Great location. Overall, very happy with our stay. ”

“One interesting fact that the front desk was very contempt when I checked-in. Definitely not a 4 or 5-star hotel, toothbrush cost 2 dollars and no slippers. When I ask for more shower set, the front desk is very unwilling to give me any and tell me there are in the room with a very skeptical tone. The front desk was not very professional either, one staff tell me that the key card is 30 dollars, while another tells me that they are free. Last but not the least, the room did not smell fresh. I……
