“Terrific renovation of two story motel. Great bedding and toiletries. Everything has a curated retro-hipster look. Spacious shower and bathroom, closet space, robes, plenty of charging outlets and a big TV, great if you use Apple. The only downside is noisy, bulky air conditioner. Be sure to ask for a ground floor room if you have a lot of luggage; second floor is accessible only by stairs. Nice outdoor seating and clubroom. We didn't take advantage of their food or bar offerings because……

“This is our go-to spot for short trips to the Berkshires. It's on a busy road, but set back from the street, and it's convenient to everything we need. Good breakfast (better than the one I had a much more expensive hotel in NYC last week) and it's clean and comfortable. ”

“Gorgeous loved large home where you will feel at home. Lots of antiques, books. Grand piano. Hosts very welcoming. No air conditioning. Hot showers once hot water heater turned on. First night unfortunately cool shower. Dog friendly. Breakfast choice fine. So near to Lennox (easy walk downhill) and close to Tanglewood. Really comfortable beds. This is an old house built in 1867 and there are many ongoing minor repairs to do with walls. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning. ”

“The Appletree Inn newly aquired by Claire Collery, is a treasure! Claire, has taken every effort to make the Inn welcoming, elegant and comfortable for each guest who comes through their doors. The pool was clean and delightfully refreshing while looking out on the Berkshire Hills. The room in the lodge, was basic, but extremely clean and quiet. The main Inn had their "soft opening" of the bar last night, and it was just lovely, and a delicious breakfast with top notch Depot coffee awaited us……

“I love the fact that it only had eight rooms they had happy hour from 5 to 6 PM so we are able to meet other people at the hotel. I love the rooms and the cleanliness and especially the breakfast they were amazing and delicious!! I would recommend this hotel highly!”
