You get what you pay for at this property (it's a cheap property so don't expect much). They say they are a 5 star resort. It is NOT! Maybe a 3 star. It's an older property that has not been deep cleaned or updated in many years. The pictures on the website are very well staged. I'll start with our likes...the location is only 32 minutes from Cancun so for excursions it's great. The bar staff was excellent, very friendly and efficient. Lorenzo at the swing bar and Sammy Sossa at the beach bar were our favorites! The lines could get four or five people deep but they got ya served quick! The wait staff at Jahal (breakfast and lunch buffet) were very nice. The balcony on our room was nice, but there was no garden to look at, it was an area where they had stacked fallen palms and the smell was horrible (something had definitely died out there). The rooms were basic but that didn't really bother my family we planned on spending our time on the beach or pool. The beds are extremely hard! Like concrete hard so if you like a soft bed you might want to talk to the front desk when you check in, we had two rooms and both beds were hard. The showers are very nice, great water pressure! The entertainment staff were alot of fun by the pool. They played a few games and had a small "dance" party. The things we did not like...the food is below mediocre! Fresh fruit and vegetables were the best! Nothing authentic to the area. Specialty dinners were a joke!

The property is dated and showing its age. Only one of the restaurants on site had appropriate air conditioning, the others were uncomfortably hot. The room fridge barely kept anything cold and only once were we able to get ice delivered to the room, the hotel was out of ice on every other occasions. The food was substandard and the beach unusable due to sea weed build up. The only bright spot was the staff, they were samazonf, very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable.

en si la propriedad esta muy bien, buen mantenimiento, muy limpia, la comida esta bastante variada. El problema se presenta en los fines de semanas cuando la afluencia aumenta. A estar diseminada en un area muy estendida los traslados para los restaurantes, las albercas, la playa se complican, los carritos electrico no se dan abastos para llevar los clientes, en los restaurantes se hacen filas fastidiosas y todo bajo el solazo. No todo el personal tiene un trato amable y a veces ponen trabas para complacer los pedidos del cliente

The pool is excellent, the hotel every morning stinks from the beach. You cannot swim in the beach is so stinky. You guys do something tovnake the beach better. Make time to clean it, so stinky so dirty. We love the beach. I mean we go there and have vacation because of the beach. You can fine pool everywhere, i mean beach is more inportant i guess.

Staff was very friendly . A lot of construction and restaurant choices and menus were not great.

I didn't like anything. Noisy hotel, staff, guests. Food was absolutely terrible. Staff coming to make my bed at 8am , next day at 5 pm . The stench from the sargassum was something I never forget. I was gonna throw up unable to eat . The beach was full of it , unable to swim. Couldn't go on my balcony. Wanted to pack and leave home. Staff barely speaks English if not at all. Poor shows.

Todo excelente! Atentos desde el check inn y check out, como recomendación desde el día que llegamos hicimos reservación en los restaurantes, un pequeño detalle con la primer habitación que nos asignaron, pero lo resolvieron en ese mismo momento. Muy recomendado!

I booked 5 months in advance and got 2 rooms side by side so my kids could be next door and they accommodated so for that, thank you. Now, I ordered room service on 3 occasions and it never came. I left notes to leave 2 additional beers in fridge and never got it. The pool closes at 7pm and there was still 1hr and 1/2 of daylight and sun and humidity but nowhere to cool off because the pool which wasn’t over 3 1/2 feet deep was closed by 7. The buffet set up is a disaster with people arguing because there’s no starting point. The omelet grill was located in the middle of the buffet so it just crowded in ever direction and you didn’t even know what you were in line for or where the line began. Took me almost 25 min to get an omelet and for them to say that they were out of ham. This place has great potential but it just feels like the staff has already checked out. I won’t be staying here anymore. Oh and I went to dinner buffet with a nice loose tank top but was told I needed a shirt with sleeves. But all the ladies were in spaghetti straps with just a string covering up and they were good to come in. Mind you the host was a female.

Pues a nosotros nos molesto mucho el olor desagradable por el zargazo creo....que hay que caminar porque no hay suficientes carros y la comida se me hizo muy poca variedad
