“So enjoyed our stay at Blue Crab...just what we needed. Fishing was great, saw dolphins several times, birds, breeze, water..., food, ocean...just about says it all. Was a wonderful trip and hope to go back soon! The place was perfect.”

“This property is as advertised. Actually, there was a major improvement in the primary bath from the time we booked in August of 2023 until we stayed at the house in March of 2024. A shower was added to the bathroom which was a wonderful addition. All of the main living areas look out over the bay. There are 2 screened porches which were so useful as well. My husband and I stayed here and were so glad we were not in Gulf Shores proper. This was much more appropriate to our laid-back style and it……

“The condo worked for the two of us! We did find the living room pull out bed to not have much support so we used the couch instead. There was also loose candy and wrappers under the pull out bed. Very well stocked with bath towels and rags. Great large closet in the bedroom. Nice, quiet location. We enjoyed going to Beach Bums each morning for coffee about 10 minutes down the road!”

“Dauphin pod was a great dog friendly place to stay for my husband and I. It was centrally located on the Island. The beach was about a .5 mile walk so I would suggest taking a little wagon to haul your beach gear. It was very clean and had all the essentials! Communication with the host was very quick.”

The cottage was the perfect size, decor was clean and comfortable. Cottage chic doesn’t begin to describe it. The location was so convenient to downtown and walking along the bay. A wonderful stay and we hope to return!”

“We had a great week at this condo. Location was fantastic and the people we met at the condo were super friendly. We enjoyed our short walks to the beach and loved the walking/jogging paths along the lagoon. The condo had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again!”

“Battery was dead on door lock, so we could not get into house. The owner fixed the problem quickly and without drama. Given the remote location of the house this issue warrants comment.”

“We booked this rental for over 2 months while we were relocating and looking for a home of our own. We brought our dog and the host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The location is beautiful and a short walk to the beach and its very dog friendly. The rental was clean and inviting. Plenty of room for 6 or more guests. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grill was available also. We loved the private screened in porch in the back to enjoy morning coffee and evening……

“Lovely location overlooking the bay. If you want to be outside of the busyness of the city but close enough to enjoy all Fairhope has to offer this is a great option. The home has some foundation/settling issues that need to be addressed but don't let this stop you from staying here. We had six adults in our party and had plenty of room. The sunsets are amazing! No boat dock/pier at time of our stay.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. The sunrises and moonrises were incredible. The setting was very private and the neighbors we encountered on our walks were all very friendly. The house was perfect for my family and our little dogs. It felt like the kind of place we used to stay for our childhood vacations. Not fancy, just comfortable. The amenities included everything we needed. I, especially, loved cooking on the gas stove and griddle. One thing to note. The amenities list……
