“We rented Cottage #1 for the 2024 solar eclipse and it was perfect! The unit had a beautiful view of the lake from both sleeping areas, was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail! During our stay we enjoyed painting some rocks for the property grounds, fishing from the canoe, and just relaxing around the fire. “My partner and I had an amazing time with this property. Our goal was to have a relaxing romantic getaway from city life and this checked all the boxes! It’s in a secluded property with other houses but they are pretty far away from each other. Our property was so cozy and cute, wonderfully decorated to give us a cozy atmosphere with modern touches for comfort! “Beautiful, serene wooded land. Saw a lot of birds. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the swing and exploring the woods. Saw two Garter snakes. The pond is also really pretty. We didn't fish only enjoyed the scenery. Before we left the kids were asking when can we come back. Also wanted to note my king Charles cavalier loved the long windows she could sit on the floor and watch the birds. For those who must have internet the WiFi works amazing.”

“The place was absolutely perfect for us. So comfortable, super clean, and well-appointed. They have an amazingly stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need as well as so many kitchen staples. There are plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, toiletry items, the works, really! We spent our honeymoon here, watching the total solar eclipse, exploring Salmon River Falls, and enjoying the gorgeous dark night sky full of stars. “This is now the second time our fishing crew has stayed here. With every stay at other places there was always something hidden that was undesirable. That is definitely not the case here! Leslie is a great host, so hospitable and fun to talk to! She's a wealth of knowledge about the area and the areas around. If a 10 star rating was possible she wpuld get it. “We just completed our 3rd stay at magical Montario Point and this time we had the luxury of almost 2 weeks, as compared to previous 1 week stays. The house is just as described—with plenty of space and flexible sleeping space as well as a well -equipped kitchen, family room space and large eating porch (which also has 2 couches; LOVE to go out there early in the morning for the birds’ serenade). Mother Nature did not provide as much beach this year but enough for chairs /towels; There were also……

“The stay was great. Hotel right on the water with balcony view of the river. Pool seems to give priority to health club members, and they were strict when it came to kids in the hot tub. My kids love hotels with hot tubs and we're not allowed in this one as the tenant watched to make sure they didn't enter. ”
