“The service was exceptional from beginning to end of the stay. On arrival despite a panic alarm having been sounded elsewhere in the property the staff member was calm, professional and friendly throughout. Special mention to the Starbucks staff who greeted us with a warm friendliness on the two occasions we visited. Overall excellent hotel. ”

“Really beautiful hotel. Decor some of the best I’ve seen for a hotel, beautiful and stylish. The spa area was small but gorgeous. Staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Didn’t give full marks because - additional payment for outdoor pool (!£25) seems a bit money grabbing on top of the room rate. - related to this limited hours in spa for people staying at hotel detracted from experience - no gym. Found that a bit odd for a place otherwise set up for wellness . Just……

“Love this hotel its really nice.chef had to come and kick the bathroom door in as the lock jammed and my partner was stuck in there a hour but thats no reflection on the hotel.the one thing that disturbed me was i booked a double room it was a twin when i got in they swiftly changed it to a double i knew this as id extended my stay and theyd kindly not turfed me out at 11 to come back in at 3 but on the last night the double mattress had been changed to 2 single mattresses which is not right……

“酒店大堂看似有點舊，有點髒，但房間內的牀單被舖卻很整潔。酒店有點偏遠，要走長長的斜路上坡下坡。如果駕駛就沒關係了。但酒店外環境美麗，可遠眺海景，常見海鷗飛翔，因位處於高地，似與天空連接在一起。酒店外有些外賣小店供應印度、中國等菜色。”

“A very pleasant stay at The Celtic International... we staayed in two double rooms which were spacious woth a comfy bed and large en-suite. Staff were helpful and the breakfast as an additional was lovely. Decor a little dated but didnt prevent us from having a good stay! ”

“Clean room in an old building. Lots of stairs, no lift. No one at the desk so needed to go into the attached pub to get help when checking in and throughout our stay”

“The setting is a lovely village green, a great place to try out the various ales on tap. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and well equipped. Although we found the beds uncomfortable. Breakfast is recommended especially at £7.50 per head, per morning (if you pay upfront). Although there are items missing that were on the online menu, everyone including me kept asking for the pancakes! Would highly recommend, as long as you can stomach the usual noise associated with a pub and unsupportive……

“We had a lovely couple of nights at the Bear Hotel. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Only very slight negative on room, was that on our first night, we could only get luke-warm water from the shower. Ate in the restaurant and meal was good quality overall. Service in restaurant was a little slow and lacking some attention to detail but pleasant all the same. Will happily return to stay here again, and plan to do so.”

“This property was extraordinary!! On the side of a hilltop and very remote and quiet. We stayed in the guest house and had absolute quiet despite a raucous wedding on site. The on site food was delicious. Gorgeous property. A total find!”
