“Everything was very clean and we opted for a room with a balcony which is great when the sun is shining, the downside being that the room was very warm and the only form of ventilation was opening the patio doors onto the balcony. This did not detract from our stay, however, and the staff we met were very pleasant.”

“Have stayed here below. The hotel is a little out of the centre but has large grounds with deer roaming free. The rooms like the whole place are old world classic but luxurious. Very comfortable and surprisingly quiet even though there was a corporate party elsewhere in the building we didn't hear a thing during the night. The other big highlight is the restaurant and the bar. Dinner isn't cheap but the food is delicious and the breakfast is great too. If you want a high end, old world hotel……

“Main lift was ooo on arrival but reception staff personally escorted me to my room. The door wouldn’t lock but this was swiftly rectified. Apartment was compact but had everything I needed. Comms was via international text messaging that I was not happy to pay for. Lack of parking to drop off baggage was inconvenient. Regardless, I would stay here again and would recommend it.”
