The room was very nice and elegant, too bad the restocking of the mini bar and snacks was inconsistent. The restaurants were few but small and lovely, unfortunately the menus were inconsistent, they didn't have the full menus on certain days. The room service menu had like 4 items on it. The pool is huge and nice but it only has 1 level of 4.75' and since I'm 5'2 and my grandson is under 4' it was difficult to enjoy. They have a kiddie pool that is 12" deep which was totally boring to a 9 year old. The grounds are lush and beautifully kept.
Service was average because you either get someone very friendly or someone who seems like they don't want to be at work or as if they would be bothered if you asked them for something. This type of service was found throught the property. Sometimes they would even look at us when they greeted us at the buffet table and it was hard to get drinks at the pool. Overall the service was average, with the exception of some very nice and helpful employees. The entertainment was nothing special but nice. Also my credit card was stolen from my room and local charges of $500 were made on it at a place called Carlos Electric which is a local store in Punta Cana. This is totally on my because I forgot to lock the safe box, but still not acceptable. We have been to Punta Cana before at a nicer hotels but the service was the same, just average. I will not be returning to Punta Cana for vacays. It's a 5 hour flight and in my experiences it's not wort
