I booked two rooms, one room was ok, but very old the other, room 1604, on the other hand, the air conditioner did not work, the toilet was broken, they had to come several times to fix it. My friend sleeps with a CPap machine, however the plugs did not work in her room she had to come over in my room to sleep. My daughter had her 11 months old baby but there was no kettle in the room to make her formula, even though we requested one. The quality of the food was very poor and lacked any variety. I will never stay at this place again. The only good about the place is the stag were very nice.

Property is definitely aged, but cleanliness is very good. Dinning could be improved a lot

Upon arrival late in the evening, the host who checked us in made us feel very rushed. We had a questions about the resort and he seemed to be rushing us off the line. We entered our room and quickly realize how dirty it appeared to be. The towels smelled, the AC was not working, the bedsheets were dirty, the safe was not working etc. The host accommodated us with a new room. We were told that there was only 1 restaurant that needed reservations prior to entering (steakhouse) but when we tried to go to the hibachi restaurant we were denied access bc they only allowed 200 ppl to eat in the restaurant even though there appeared to be tables available. The pools were also very dirty everyday. I don't know when they have time to clean it since it is open 24 hours. The waiters/waitresses at the restaurants were not very attentive. Many times we had to chase 1 down for a refill on water. The property is big with no shuttles. No premium liquors at the bars. The cleaning in the rooms were not great at all. The WiFi connection was terrible where it kept kicking me off it every 30 sec and I'd have to sign in again. As a whole the property has potential but def requires upgrades and TLC. I wouldn't recommend Riu Bambu.
