“For a woodsy getaway close to real highways, here’s your spot. A good home base for local activities. Cute not chic, clean and functional. Chickens and goats on the property added a great farm with no work charm.”

“This was a perfect hideaway located 15 minutes from Beacon where the wedding was. It was reasonably priced and had so many cute accents. The host was on top of all the details and very nice in person. Would definitely recommend. The only thing I would say just for an fyi it’s better for a couple as it’s a full size bed. I went with my teen daughter and it was too small for both of us in the bed so we alternated the couch. Not a minus at all but more an fyi. Thanks so much for hosting us.”

“It's very obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone into the creation of this lovely studio apartment. My husband and I stayed for two weeks while our home in a nearby town was undergoing renovations. We were very comfortable here and made welcome by the hosts, who were very accommodating and responsive to our inquiries and needs, both preceding and during our stay. “The apartment has been modernized and was nice although I couldn't seem to get the heat to work. But the lawn outside had very long grass, the front steps were in bad shape.”

“We loved this wonderful home. Hosts were very easy to work with and so kind. Place was immaculate and the towels and bedding were high quality. Kitchen was well equipped and great size. Backyard is beautiful and they even started the firepit for us and supplied wood. We can’t wait to come back in the spring time when the weather is warmer. Highly recommend!!”

“Great location close to West Point. Next to bar which can be a bit noisy. Step stairs so not for the eldery or physically appeared. Resturants are close and Ice Cream and bakery near by.”

Overall it was clean, comfortable, and communication from the person/company managing it was good. I would recommend this rental to most people with a few notes… *There is off-street parking which is good, but it’s a little odd for Units 1 and 2 in that you may need to back out of a fairly narrow curved driveway. “The pictures in this listing completely misrepresented the neighborhood. We only spent about an hour in the VRBO but didn't feel safe there for several reasons. First of all, the room wasn't secure because it was opened up to the neighborhood through the upper floor that let out to the fire escape. Second of all there were large groups of people in the streets having block parties that made us feel like our rental car wasn't safe from vandalism or burglary.
