“Three nights here as we toured the area. Check in was easy. We were able to access the VRBO app 30 minutes prior to our arrival. By the time we reached the driveway, Ruben had sent the access code.The road to the house is gravel and only wide enough for one car. We were glad we had arrived during the day.The house has an antique store vibe. Lots of books for a rainy day activity. The view from the balcony is splendid with cozy outdoor furniture and an area for yoga or meditation. We just found the decor to be a little schizophrenic and overwhelming. This is a great place for two adults and a couple of kids to stay. If two couples are going, they would need to be very comfortable……

“John was a fantastic host - his home was the perfect solution for us for a few days while we were in the process of moving to the area and our home wasn't ready yet. Great communication with us prior to check-in, very responsive to our questions and needs at the beginning and throughout our stay. Home is as pictured in the photos with very nice touches throughout. Washer/dryer and dishwasher in great working condition. Location super close to Scotts Corners where there are nice local……

“Everything was easy and fine at the space. I had to stay for family reasons - so "location" was the most important factor to me. The worst thing in the unit is that the spiral stair is narrow - and a fat person or person with bad knees is NOT going to be using that stairwell easily. Otherwise, the unit had everything I needed and was perfectly appointed for an easy weekend stay. Enjoy!”

“This house is definitely secluded, so if you like privacy, and we do, this is the place for you. The house is well stocked with breakfast food, and food for guests is well marked. House is spotless. Bed is comfortable. I had a long phone conversation with Lisa and she was friendly and honest about what to expect. It's a short drive to the sights in the Hudson Valley. The only caution is the gravel driveway leading to the house is long and rough.”

It was winter, so we didn't make use of the lake, but when it snowed one morning, the scene was gorgeous. Thanks!”
