“My 3 siblings with our spouses spent 8 days at Casa Cristal and the Villa made a great vacation outstanding. The initial entry shows a magnificent view of the Pacific from Manuel Antonio almost to Quepos. The spacious 4/5 bedrooms were more than enough for our 8 people and the kitchen/living and upstairs grill area provided space for all of us to spread out. While the facilities were great, what really made our stay was the people. The maid took care of all the housekeeping including washing all……

“I fully enjoyed everything about this rental. It was perfect to enjoy nature and disconnect. I loved the openness of the house. Each morning I woke up to monkeys chattering in the distance and birds singing. I couldn't wait to make coffee and watch the hummingbirds. At night, we could see glowing beetles and could listen to the sounds of the jungle. The landscaping and flowers around the property were delightful to explore. Though the toucans remained elusive, we were treated to monkeys……

“Overall, this vacation home was enjoyable, nestled within the rainforest where we saw macaws, toucans, many other birds, squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and howler monkeys from the top deck. The home has all the necessities for a week stay, and the location is great for visiting Manuel Antonio park and beaches. The main downside was the main floor had no air conditioning, so this part of this house (kitchen, dining room, living room) was uncomfortable. Some tall tower fans would really help.……

“This is definitely NOT a bar-hopping beach/shopping spring break destination. It's not on a beach. It's located 2-3 hours by car from San Juan International Airport. It's a 30 minute plus ride to a beach and the nearest sizable town on a combination gravel and blacktop country roads that wind through bannaa and coconut plantations and up the mountain. But when you get to the end of that road you are in for a treat! The views are stunning, The house itself is beautiful and perfectly maintained.……

“We had the pleasure of staying a week at this offering and enjoyed every moment of it. It is private and very easily accessed on the hill overlooking the Quepos marina and beaches. It is located within the grounds of Las Cascadas boutique hotel and parking is on the secure private grounds. The brothers Dylan and Brandon run the place and were wonderful to us and always available to help in any way. They were very helpful to recommend and choose excursions that best fit our hoped for adventures.……

“The views from Shana by the Beach were stunning, and the beach adjacent to the hotel, Playa Biesanz, was lovey and not overly crowded. The winding, narrow road leading to the hotel is certainly not for the faint of heart, and we were never brave enough to venture out after dark because of it. Additionally, the hill on which Shana by the Beach property sits is very steep, making walking it on foot challenging for the able-bodied and I would think impossible for those needing accessible……
