“The property and the whole town was so fun! We are from Wisconsin and this is exactly what I expected from an old mining town in the mountains. We enjoyed all the gaming. The only problem was I had a hard time finding an ice machine that worked. It was reported and I hope it’s being fixed. That was the only small bump. The trip was wonderful!”

“Internet kept fading in and out”

“Didn’t like the fact that for a late check in you have to walk to a different casino to get your room key and then walk all the way across the other casino to get to the actual hotel”

“Everything was superior ”

“We always enjoy staying at the Grand Z Hotel. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable. We love that there is a mini-fridge in the room. This time, the staff went above and beyond their normal duties. We left my husband's hearing aides in the room, and the cleaning staff turned them in to security. We were able to send a friend up to the hotel to retrieve them. Great to know that they have honest staff members! Will definitely stay here again! A big THANKS to all employees that……

“Everything is good”

“員工非常友善熱情，房間是木板不是地毯而且很乾淨，暖氣穩定不會忽冷忽熱。床也很乾淨，看得出來很用心在整理。唯一缺點就是我住了三天有一天早上沒熱水，還有淋浴的水量很小。在這氣溫零下的時候無法好好洗個熱水澡是很可惜的。”

“Great time in Golden. The town is a gem. Lots of shopping, bars, restaurants. I little far to walk from the hotel but it was a great departure point.., We did a historic walking tour which was wonderful. Toured coors. Lookout mountain (wild Bill Hickox grave site) had some of the best views in all Colorado…”

“Got a nonsmoking room overviewing the river, spacious, with 2 queen beds, little fridge, microwave and a coffee machine. Easy check in and check out. ”

“The beds, sheets, pillows, roominess of rooms were awesome! The rates were very reasonable. We were close to everything . The patio I wished was up set up to enjoy some outdoor space to relax but the outdoor hot tub was awesome. Would def stay here again!”

“Stayed in the single bedroom. Everything was very simple and “homey”. Felt like I was staying at someone’s house. The bathroom is shared with others but I had no issues. The host made some delicious burritos for breakfast in the morning! Obviously it’s not a luxurious stay, but it is worth it if you are skiing and just want to be close to the mountain. Be prepared to have a plan for food as there aren’t many restaurants around.”

“Ended up with a HUGE room, hotel a little dated but perfectly comfortable for our overnight stay in Central City! Mainly casinos in Central City but also some interesting Gold rush history, worth a stop but probably not worth more than one night if like us you're not there for gambling! Easy parking in hotel multistory car park.”
