“Superb Hotel”

“It was a great stay, everyone was helpful and made sure we knew where everything was. Everyone was so nice. Will be looking to stay next year again on our way to the Outer Banks. PS The Fishin’ Pig a Great place to eat!”

“The room was clean and tidy. Standard provisions including free Wi-Fi are available. Staff was helpful although we arrived late in the evening. The overall experience of this stay was good. I recommend this motel if you plan to visit Shenandoah National Park.”

We caution anyone with expectations for: A supportive mattress, firm or plush; A full breakfast. Our experience: Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel, including both public and private (room) spaces, was clean. Our accessible room was well appointed to accommodate a wheelchair as best we could determine. “It is not say comfortable, the room is old and dirty, the breakfast is poor as similar hotel.The only reason I booked attract is the hotel in downtown.”

“Wanted to walk into town, for dinner. Did not feel safe. Ended up driving to a restaurant. At the back of hotel. Street lights did not light up. Looking forward to go for a swim. Pool was not ready. Room was great, but lots of road noise. Also, the breakfast did not have any bread for toast or any sausages. It would be nice to see a more healthier choices. ”
