"I know the local area well and this hotel is the most reasonably priced in this area. Very clean and the staff is exceptional. Our bags were carried to our room without asking for help. They accept pets which is hard to find. There is a large dining room that can be used for meetings or banquets. ..."

Cooperstown shower
"We were in town for a bridal shower and wanted a place where the four of us could stay together. The Sunrise Lodge was perfect! It was so nicely appointed and the property owners were wonderful! It is a beautiful space for a quiet weekend away and near historic Cooperstown."

Relaxing and quiet
"We were attending my nieces wedding. We thought it might be nice to invite some family to share the house with us. It was big enough. The area was quiet, very much in the country, but close enough to get to a town and the Glimmerglass park for the wedding. Everything was only a few minutes away. ..."

Aug 12, 2019The motel is basic: very clean, quiet, and roomy. It's in a very nice town with few eating choices. Avoid the overpriced Lake Inn with unappetizing, diner-type meals.All we wanted to do was see all theproductions at Glimmerglass Opera, 8.4 miles away
