“One of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed at! So very quiet and great views. Loved listening to all the birds sing outside. Check in/out was easy and the host left a book of things to do and attractions. Lots of little pluses like soap, condiments, multiple coffee makers, and puzzles! Deck looked brand new and cabin in great location near some nice walks/hikes. Great communication with the host! A very cozy retreat to relax and recharge! “Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not……

“This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!”

“Dave's home is a wonderful property located in the center of Woodstock. Comfortable, clean with a wonderful fenced in yard that our dog loves. We have stayed here numerous times and continue to enjoy the wonderful feel of this home away from home! Love the wood burning fireplace on chilly and cold evenings. Beautiful yard! Quiet and relaxing! Very comfortable spaces in the home. Dave always responds within a very short period of time and is always helpful. Love the upgrades! We will definetly……

“My husband and adult son stayed here for a Hudson Valley holiday. This place is truly perfect for 2 people for a lovely getaway. Would have loved to be here in warmer weather to enjoy the front porch and firepit. It is decorated adorably. Best highlights: owner quick to respond, very comfy beds and cozy, warm gas fireplace. Just know that it is rustic cabin-like, so if you’re seeking more upscale then recommend other places. No shades except in the bedroom, no closet/dresser/place to hang or……
