“This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. “Our stay at Casa Karon was for 3 nights, sandwiched between our visit to Papagayo and then closer to the coast near San Jose. Seeing Toucans and small parrots and sitting on the bench on the deck overlooking the forest in the morning was my favorite. “We were there for just a one night stay. Clean and all we needed to crash after a long day! There’s a beautiful view of the lake and a nice yard as well. The owner was a little more chatty than needed but was very kind. No wearing your shoes inside which seemed a little odd as our feet were dirtier than our shoes.
