“This is a perfect little place to clear your mind and enjoy nature while still having everything you need. The whole ranch is beautiful. The back deck is perfect for grilling and relaxing. Nice yard in front with a great porch to enjoy also.”

“Enjoyed the stay. Very pleasant area and welcoming reception. The only misleading was it is true river 2 minutes away, but you cannot get to it. It was locked private property. Im not sure if it was because off season. Just check before you rent.”

“This little cabin is exactly what we were hoping for! Secluded, great covered patios in front and back, and back patio is so relaxing! Hummingbird feeder, bird feeders and birdbath all get a lot of activity, plus a great view of the deer, turkeys and hogs when they come out to eat. This place had everything we needed…charcoal grill, cookware, coffee, etc. very clean as well. Buddy the cat was great company too! Definitely would come back!”

“This is a great space! We were completely cool and comfortable; and the communication with host was superb! A great space if you were unable to reserve at Garner State Park. On a clear night, you would be able to see the stars! Thank you for everything! ”

“First off, let me start by saying it is a great location. One other house is close by, but there is definitely a lot of privacy. Upon the arrival of the home and inspection windows were broken, blinds were broken or missing. There was no fire extinguisher and the air condition filter was extremely dirt. Emailed the office to get the AC filter and fire extinguisher but received no response. The windows were so dirty that you couldn’t even enjoy the view outside. The refrigerator outdoor took two……

“La Casita lived up to its earlier great reviews. Beautiful setting, with amazing views of Hill Country and many bird species putting on a show at the feeders! The cabin was rustic and charming, and well cared for by its kind owners. We look forward to visiting again!”

“The house had everything we needed, love all the outside eating spaces. Nice to be close to Hippy Chicks and a quick mart. The walk to the river with babies and all the gear wasn’t easy but the river was worth it!”

“House is super cute and was much bigger than expected. Owner of property is very strict with the 2 people count even though there is space for two blow up mattresses. That part was kind of annoying honestly because some families may be more than two and have young kids with them but other than that it was a great stay. Owner also made comments about us keeping the place clean like we were animals. His approach and delivery needs improvement. Thank you.”

“We had a great time and the cabin was just as described. Clean and had everything we needed. A little trouble with the air conditioning, even though it was spring it was difficult to keep the temp cool and the filter seemed like it needed to replaced on the ac.”

“Excellent place to stay in Concan. Accommodations were as advertised, pool was great and we had friendly neighbors. It’s a separate house not connected to the other two units next door. Kitchen appliances and furniture were a little dated but functional. One of the two toilets clogged on our last day and we reported it to the owner who fixed it within hours (thanks!). Overall I would recommend staying here. Garner State Park which is just down the road was excellent!”
