"My family has vacationed at Nags Head for nearly 70 years. We always stayed at the iconic Jeannette’s Cottages in the early years. "This was a great place for our short stay. The most important thing to us was the dog friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price, which we found here at swell life. The home was clean. You can see the sound/bay and the ocean from the deck. If you sit in the right spot you can watch the waves roll in and in the other spot watch the sun set and its gorgeous colors over the sound/bay. "Even though it rained several of the days, we still enjoyed the ocean from our balcony on the second floor and did some Kitty Hawk exploring. And there were so many close excellent recusants to chose from for dinning. The place was clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils etc... But didn't realize there was an elevator until the 2nd day but was so grateful for it being on the 2nd floor. Only improvement would be that someone would have been in the office, which was closed due to short...
