“We had an amazing 3 night stay at the South Plank Farm House. The home was fully updated and the kitchen was well stocked! We made use of the fire pit, played football and soccer on the grounds and ventured across the street to use the tree swing. The evening sky was quite a treat, so many stars visible that we don’t get to appreciate from Long Island. LegoLand was a fun day, my grandchildren had a great time. “The private beach at the home was great, so relaxing, bald Eagle flew right over us, tubes to float in river. Home was very large, clean and well stocked with essentials. Beds were very comfortable, loved the back deck and huge yard to hang out on. We really enjoyed our time here while visiting for concert at Bethel Woods.”

“The place was as described. The kitchen equipment was great - there were enough plates, silverware, mugs, glasses, etc. The cooking equipment was good, too. Suggestion: small bowls and plates. The dining room table only had little benches to sit on. We brought in the chairs from the front porch. There is no sofa. “We loved the property. The grounds were beautifully manicured. We enjoyed walking through the property at the spectacular view and outbuildings. The front porch was magnificent sipping our morning coffee. The sounds of the toads softly croaking in the pond lulled us to sleep. My son enjoyed finding turtles. We saw deer, turkeys, rabbits, and chipmunks. The house was very clean and was well stocked. The deep soaker tub was luxurious and the upstairs 1/2 bathroom with its beautiful antique door……

“When I reserved my stay for 34 days (I explained this was not a vacation, I was doing an externship for school), I was told the” cottage” was booked for 3 of the 5 weeks, but an art studio was available to rent. I specifically asked to confirm there was a private bathroom, high speed WiFi, and air conditioning. Prior to my arrival I told that she was going to put me in the cottage for 12 days, then move me to the studio. What could I say. The cottage was nice, but the common area was not air……
