“There is a supermarket opposite. It is very convenient to buy things. The sanitation is also very clean. But the furnishings in the room are a bit old.”

“Location was good. The only issue was room card had to be reset every evening when we returned. We were there 3 nights with had 2 rooms and none of the cards worked so going back to lobby was a pain.”

“The hotel was in need of some repairs but I assume their out of service elevator will be fixed soon. The continental breakfast was a let down. Beyond the waffle maker, toast, and yogurt, not much to boast. No breakfast meats, sweets, or even milk in sight.”

“The stay was good; however I wasn’t given the room I requested, which was a handicap accessible accommodation. The only reason I didn’t complain was because the person that required the accessible accommodations was not able to make the trip. ”

“The hot tub did do work fire place was complicated and romote needs batteries but it was beautiful ”

“Host is a very nice and interesting to talk to. Farm had neat things to look at. Very quiet and relaxing. Didn't know we had to tell them we wanted breakfast ahead of time so we missed out on the breakfast both days. I don't know if that was communicated to me or not. ”

“Was contacted by host who was gracious and accommodating for our needs. Resort staff was on point, even during the busy holiday season. Would recommend booking resort activities in advance of stay as spaces book up quickly during holiday.”

“Immaculate and very charming, the town is rustic, not many places to eat. The apartment was exactly what we wanted as a stopover, we went to Luray Caverns and did a nice hike and drive in Shenandoah, on our way to Smoky mountains,”

“We arrived shortly after the check-in time. Directions to the place are simply put, parking right next to the suite. We were greeted by Nelson, who was great, showing us around the Barn and telling us to go look around the whole property. I was slightly confused when booking, and confused the Shire suite with the Hobbit house, i thought they were the same, they are not. The Hobbit house is a newer addition and is not attached to any other building. The Shire suite is attached to the Barn, which……

“We had an amazing time and my train obsessed 2 year old LOVED that the trains were across the street! They even have a train museum and large model train across the street. There’s an adorable little icecream spot around the corner we walked to and had a blast. The bed was comfy, the studio was super clean and welcoming and it perfectly suited our needs for the weekend. We had a blast at elkton brewing, enjoyed some fresh pizza, local trails and hiked some larger trails on our way out of town.……
