“Met my needs with a great view of the Ottawa River”

“This charming home is in a pleasantly quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to stores & restaurants to replenish supplies and/or enjoy a meal out. The cottage is VERY clean & decorated in an elegant & cheerful way, with plenty of space. Our VRBO hostess replied in a timely - and very patient - manner to my many messages before, during, and after our stay. Would we stay here again? 100% YES!!!”

“The house was nice. Had everything we needed. The trees were full of birds singing, there are a couple eagles who stayed in the trees just outside and the squirrels were friendly too. The water was brown and unswimable, but overall, absolutely beautiful. Happy we booked here! Check in and out was easy and owner was responsive to messages.”

“We wanted to find a place that would accommodate our boat and dog and woodchuck marina was above and beyond our expectations. Emily was wonderful!! So accommodating and has done a beautiful job renovating. Yard is fenced in which allowed our dog to be off leash outside. So nice. Beautiful home and yard with a relaxing hot tub after a day on Lake Erie. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for having us Emily (and Chief). You guys are awesome.”

“Perfect spot to see family out of town”

“My stay was very pleasant, the home was a cozy clean place. I only had just a couple of things I would suggest is that you maybe put in plug ins because the house reaked of older home smell. And to maybe add another television to one of the rooms. Other than those things. This home gave me a chance to spend time and see most of my nieces and nephews whom I hadn’t seen in 3 years or more, so I say thank you for your cozy home. My family came together to give tribute to my mother for Mother’s Day……

“Clean”

“This worked out really well for our stay prior to our daughter's graduation. Cute property and very close to campus. The only thing I would mention is that it says it sleeps 5, but I'm not sure how. We had planned to have 5, but our son had to cancel, and it was perfect for 4. I would not say the sofa is big enough for an adult to sleep on. Overall, I highly recommend for a visit to BG.”
