“Excellent place to stay. Friendly Helpful Staff.”

“We booked last minute on a road trip. We ended up getting an ADA accessible room which is wonderful that they have them available, we did not need that though and I don’t prefer walk/roll in showers. It would be very good for anyone needing those accommodations. Front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. Clean room. Beds and pillows not the comfiest but not bad either. Not in a super convenient location to the main expressway but we did choose it with little other options around and it was……

“We had a lovely time at Hemlock Haven! We spent several days mining for Herkimer diamonds and the cabin was an excellent place to relax after spending the day outside. It is fairly quiet, cozy, and pretty easy to drive to. The hosts had a few extra touches to make it even more welcoming. Definitely recommend for a little R&R!!”

“I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again”

“We booked this last minute when we realized we wouldn’t have any kids for Memorial Day weekend and am so happy we did. Everything was exactly what we needed it to be. I can imagine the stairs to the loft might be an issue for some people but we didn’t have any problems with it. The terrain of the path to the shared dock was a bit rough especially if you have your hands full but pretty much what one should expect in the Adirondacks. We loved everything about this place and would definitely be……

“The cabin was great, there was lots of space. The couches are super comfy. The only complaint that I would have was that it was a little bit difficult to find, especially at night, but once we got there, it was fine!”

“Cabin is rustic, steep steps to loft which contains the beds and raw wood roofing. (cannot stand in the loft). Also, water from faucets is for showering and doing dishes only, you must use the dispenser water for drinking and cooking. Had a problem with septic and draining just before leaving but owner came to fix issue when notified. Lastly, the cabin is up the hill (owners cabin at bottom of hill at lakeside), but you have access to the lake, canoes, kayaks, etc.”

“The property was beautifully constructed, well equipped for the perfect escape from the buzz of city life, cozy, and private. A short half-mile walk to trail heads leading to a tent site, lean-to, and lakes. Don't forget chairs to enjoy the campfire, a flashlight in case the lantern provided runs out of battery, and indoor entertainment (board games, DVDs to play on the TV in the bedroom, cards, etc) if reading isn't your idea of a way to pass some time indoors. The small library provided……

“Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Indoors was cozy with plenty of warming options on chilly nights and rainy days. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Multiple dining areas including a very nice sun porch. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic lake house experience.”

“1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. Does have first floor bedroom but a bit of distance to the single well appointed bath on that floor. Kitchen quite well equipped and even had a wide……
