There is also a very nice and big restaurant right beside the hotel which was a bonus. The ferry station was about 10 minutes walk so not bad. Over all the hotel was great. Only things to be aware is that the center of Varenna is a significant distance down the mountain. You can walk there but it is a pretty good distance. All was Fantastic!
"My husband, son and daughter-in-law stayed in this delightful apartment in mid-May. We loved Varenna and the location of the apartment, so close to shops/cafes and sights. The Apartment was HUGE in every respect. Beds/bedding great. Very clean. The host was very generous to provide coffee, bottled waters, juice, a few groceries and snacks. Liz was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us great restaurant recommendations. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Lake Como!"
