“We enjoyed 3 days of recreation and relaxation by the lake. We took the kayaks out multiple times. It takes about 60-90 minutes to slowly paddle around the lake. There's a beaver's dam to visit, loads of lily pads/flowers, fish, turtles, and ducks. Less than 5 minutes away is a small park with a nice swimming area and hiking trails -- $2 admission per car. The apartment was very nice. We enjoyed grilling out several of our meals. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what you might need. The……

We could have walked to nearly everything in town, but it was raining so we didn't. We used the stovetop, coffee maker, and watched movies through the available streaming. There were some games in the house, and a welcome gift and note. Heating was comfortable. The manager was friendly. Overall, I'd book this place again.”

“The property in is a very quiet place with beautiful views of the Battenkill River. There was plenty of room for our large dog to exercise. The owners were very professional and approachable. We did find kitchenware lacking in preparing our own food. The location was beautiful this time of year, but a bit out of the way as fair as restaurants and stores.”

“Near the end of the road (and well off of it) and at the base of Dorset Peak, this studio was an excellent spot for a quiet getaway. The main house is within view, but only as much as an average neighbor would be. It's one room, but it's above a three+ stall garage and PLENTY big enough for a full kitchen, dining table, two large beds, a wood burning fireplace and sitting area. “The converted upstairs apartment of a quintessential green barn is surrounded by all sides by picturesque views of the mountains. The setting is private; the host checked in but wasn’t obtrusive; and the field with the Adirondack chairs made our visit! The unit was a little challenging with young kids because it only has a shower, but we made it work for a long weekend.”

“Sunny, bright, clean apartment with everything we needed. Loved the sound of the river behind the apartment, loved how spacious the space was, and the proximity to town(walkable).We had everything we needed there to cook a meal when we arrived. The weather was unexpectedly warm when we arrived and the host offered to install the AC’s the next day but with a fan in the window we slept comfortably. Truly a lovely space! I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this is one of the best.”

“This place was a gem. The location was great. We were 2-3 blocks from the Main Street and it was an easy walk to great restaurants. The space was on the second floor of a house. The house was clean, neat and well stocked with everything you need for cooking. (Even some condiments, cooking oils and sugar, and then some.) “My family and I loved our stay in Creekside Camp! The location was beautiful, the cabin was gorgeous and the hot tub by the creek was the cherry on top. Dan, the property owner, communicated quickly and went above and beyond if we had any issues. All and all it was the perfect relaxing getaway and we can't wait to come back again!”
