“We really enjoyed the cottage! My very tall 6’4 guys (husband and son) did have a little trouble fitting in the shower and were a little worried about getting water everywhere, but overall I would give it 5 ⭐️! A minor thing that really only applies to very tall big men. Cyndi was incredibly kind, a fabulous brownie maker and even supplied us with extra towels and doggie toys. “No luxuries at all. The toilet in the hall was like riding A bucking bronco. It’s clearly not attached to the floor & is leaking somewhere. The kitchen was seriously infested with teeny tiny ants…eeeew! Not enough towels & extra blankets. Tons of goose poop in the yard leading to the lake…like a mine field. The fire pit was great & we enjoyed using it each evening. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay with our family.”

“We had a wonderful time on Orchard Island! Such a friendly area. Our trip was to see the eclipse and we were not disappointed. We would love to come back in the summer and actually use the lake! We were saddened by all the tornado damage in the area but Chris was so helpful about keeping us updated on the house and businesses in the area. We were happy to come and support the area.”

“My husband, in laws and our 2 year old son and nephew had the best time at Rick and Christine’s home. The directions to get into the house were clear, and the house was available many hours before scheduled check in. The house is lovely, with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a bonus game room where the toddlers slept in their pack and plays. We appreciated all of the small touches from the sweet welcome card and bubbles, the coffee, and the wonderful assortment of games. We come yearly to Indian……

“We really loved this house. It met all our needs and then some. Very clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. We did need to contact the manager of this place and she responded immediately. Met one of the neighbors and she was very nice. We asked her for recommendations on eating places and loved the place (Titlted Hilton) she recommended. We hope to visit this place again.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Inn at ONU and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the concierge provided valuable information about the local area. “Not a lot of late night food options for delivery. No elevator to the second floor. Overall though it was a great stay. Bed was comfy, jacuzzi tub was hot (needed rinsed out though and jets didn't work) and the room was clean. Staff was friendly. ”

Staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast buffet was great (eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurts, bread/bagels, etc). The hotel itself is a little dated but they are working on fixing it up (i.e. freshly plastered hallway walls). The comfy bed and friendly staff were worth the stay.”
