“We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!”

“I'll get the small amount of negative comments out of the at first.....the road into the the property is treacherous, especially because it was raining when we arrived. Very steep, narrow turns and tight roads. I understand that people that live in the area, like the cleaners, are used to the mountain roads, but coming from the lower part of the state, it was eye opening. According to the instruction email I received, they recently expanded the drive to allow more parking near the house. That……

“This tiny house was exactly what we needed. Not a lot of room, but that was expected. Every space was used wisely. Modern kitchen with everything we needed. What a nice treat to have a crate provided. We will be back!”
