"This property is closed. They took our reservation via Expedia but when we showed up we found it under construction. Added stress to an otherwise wonderful trip to Trinidad."

Acajou Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"Acajou means mahogany and when you visit the place you would see why. The craftsmanship in the buildings is so beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating (special mention to Lizann) and the food was delicious. It's not located exactly on the beach but it's on the same side so you get views of the beach and it's only about a3 minute walk to reach the water. The beach itself is a long beach with medium waves so nice to bathe in and those who are interested in turtle watching, the guides are just about two buildings down. All in all the experience was great so I would recommend them. "
